WorkingMouse Passes Stage 1 Audit for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001!
We are excited to announce that WorkingMouse has officially passed our Stage 1 audits for ISO 9001 (Quality
Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)! This milestone is a significant step towards full certification,
showing our dedication to operational efficiency and environmental responsibility.
What are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001?
ISO 9001 is the world's most recognised standard for quality management. It sets out the criteria for a quality management system focused on consistently meeting customer expectations, improving processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Which is something that WorkingMouse takes seriously! ISO 14001 provides a framework for organisations to set up effective environmental management systems. It makes sure that we systematically manage our environmental responsibilities, comply with regulations, and strive for continual improvement in our environmental performance. Passing our Stage 1 audit means that WorkingMouse’s management systems have been reviewed and found to be well-designed, effectively implemented, and aligned to the strict requirements of both standards.
Our Committees: The Power Behind the Progress
To get ready for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, WorkingMouse set up two new committees: the QMS
(Quality Management Systems) Committee and the EMS
(Eco-Standards Management) Committee. With these committees, we’ve been able to use Codebots to create
models and pipelines that helped streamline the development of our policies, procedures, and standards. By using CodeBots it meant we
could build out strong management systems quickly and efficiently. A big shout-out to

the Co-Chairs of the EMS Committee! The work they’ve done has been the driving force behind our successful Stage 1 audit outcome.

On Track for Full Certification
We’re not stopping here! Our next major milestone is the Stage 2 (final) audit, scheduled for October. Based on the positive feedback we got from the auditor during the 6.5 hour Stage 1 audit (yes, it was a long day!), we are well on track to achieving full certification for both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 by the end of the year!
